Cotuit Agency Merges with Palumbo Insurance
The Edward A. Grazul Insurance Agency of Cotuit has merged with the William Palumbo Insurance Agency Inc., which is headquartered in Medfield. This partnership will provide better service and a larger selection of insurance coverage for Cape Cod consumers.
“We felt it was important for our firm to align with a larger organization representing many more insurance companies to provide increased benefits for our clients,” said Elizabeth Savoia, President of Grazul, who will remain with the agency through June.
According to John M. LaRocca Sr., President and CEO of Palumbo, no major changes are planned at Grazul as a result of the merger.
“The same friendly staff will continue to serve Cape Cod clients with its usual dedication to service and courteousness,” he noted. “The hours will change to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment, but that’s about it.”
Through its partnership with Palumbo, Grazul will now be able to offer coverage through the Narragansett Bay Insurance Company, which provides policies for people who were unable to get insurance through the voluntary market. Qualifying homeowners could see a difference in premiums of 10 to 40 percent below the average with the Massachusetts Fair Plan.
For more than 75 years, the William Palumbo Insurance Agency has provided its customers with the best possible coverage with the most reliable insurance carriers. As an independent insurance agency, Palumbo represents consumers by finding the policies they need at competitive pricing, then assists them when there is a loss to get prompt payment.
The Edward Grazul Agency is located on Route 28 in Cotuit at 4527 Falmouth Rd., near the intersection of Newtown Road. For more information, call 508-428-1943
